Hi, I am Stefen Acepcion, an Industrial Designer based in Ontario, Canada

    A bit about Myself

When I was young, I started wondering how things worked and did silly things like replicate stuff such as jet engines and commercial aircraft doors with cardboard, plastic bottles, cans and popsicle sticks, to drumming up mock Operating System UIs in PowerPoint in order to understand how they worked and perhaps what things I could do to “improve” them, little did I know this was the starting point to my fascination with design.

The innate desire to find out how things work and why its designed that way, how its being iterated, and what could be its use to benefit its targeted users is the core of my fascination in design.

Designing solutions methodically, with a cause to solve and an outcome that elevates the user’s life is my main driver as a designer today. It is the drive that makes me strive to learn and improve my processes knowing it will be valuable to solutions I design that will help make someone’s life easier in the end of the day.

Outside of Design, you can find me either scouring places to take my next landscape photo, In a trail or road cycling, tinkering with 3d prints or mentoring my local FRC Robotics Team.
